We care more than anything about delivering premium quality product manufacturing that provides you with an experience you’ll never forget. Our founders were engineers who had spent more than 20 years working with laser printers, constantly looking to improve and innovate. Over time we saw that original cartridges were expensive and other compatible cartridges could be unreliable. After careful thought and research, we created True Image - a brand passionately committed to giving you the very best.

2. We Care about Customer Satisfaction:
Our simple, straightforward, and stress-free after-sales process always puts you first. We want to be by your side whenever you need an expert helping hand.
3. We Care about the Environment:

The choice between standard yield and high yield cartridges depends on your specific printing needs and preferences. Here are some factors to consider:
1. Print Volume:
- Standard Yield: Ideal for users with low to moderate printing needs. If you print infrequently or in small quantities, a standard yield cartridge may be sufficient.
- High Yield: Suitable for users with high-volume printing requirements. High yield cartridges are more cost-effective in the long run if you print frequently.
2. Cost per Page:
- Standard Yield: Typically, the upfront cost of standard yield cartridges is lower. However, the cost per printed page may be higher compared to high yield cartridges.
- High Yield: While high yield cartridges often have a higher initial cost, they generally offer a lower cost per page, making them more economical for frequent printing.
3. Frequency of Replacements:
- Standard Yield: Requires more frequent replacements as they contain less toner or ink.
- High Yield: Requires less frequent replacements, making them convenient for users who print frequently.
4. Upfront Budget:
- Standard Yield: If you have a limited upfront budget and do not print extensively, a standard yield cartridge may be a more economical choice.
- High Yield: If you can afford a slightly higher upfront cost and want to minimize the frequency of cartridge replacements, a high yield cartridge may be a better investment.
Consider your printing habits and budget when making a decision. If you are uncertain, you can also calculate the cost per page for each option based on your typical usage to determine which is more cost-effective in the long term.
The decision between choosing a printer cartridge with a chip or without a chip depends on your preferences and budget. Here are some considerations for each option:
1. Ease of Installation:
- Cartridges with chips are ready to use and easy to install.
- Cartridges without a chip require you to transfer the chip from the used cartridge to the cartridge without the chip before installation. (Chip transfer tools are included.)
2. Cartridge Functions
- Cartridges with a chip usually work with printers without errors and provide information about ink/toner levels.
- Cartridges without a chip will work with printers but will not monitor ink/toner levels.
3. Cost Savings:
- Cartridges with chips tend to be more expensive due to the high research and development costs of the chips.
- Cartridges without chips are always much cheaper because there is no chip cost.
Both True Image cartridges with and without chips can offer good print quality. If you prioritize convenience, compatibility, and ease of use, cartridges with chips are a suitable choice. If cost savings are more important to you, cartridges without chips may be a viable option.

A compatible ink or toner cartridge is a third-party product designed to work with a specific printer model. These cartridges are not made by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) but are intended to be compatible with the same specifications and standards, offering a more affordable alternative to OEM cartridges.
The use of compatible ink or toner cartridges with your printer should not void the warranty. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in the United States prohibits manufacturers from voiding warranties based solely on the use of third-party or compatible products unless the manufacturer can prove that the use of such products caused the damage.
Some compatible ink & toner cartridges, like True Imge's, are designed to meet or exceed the quality standards of original cartridges, offering comparable print quality and page yield. However, some other third-party cartridges may not perform as well. The quality of compatible ink or toner cartridges can vary depending on the manufacturer. Before choosing compatible cartridges, it's a good idea to read reviews from other users, check the reputation of the manufacturer, and verify that the cartridges are compatible with your specific printer model.
In general, reputable manufacturers (including True Image) of compatible cartridges are designed to provide page yields comparable to original (OEM) cartridges. Moreover, True Image provides clear information about the expected page yield of each ink/ toner, offering a guarantee to ensure customer satisfaction. But, it's important to note that the actual page yield can depend on factors such as printer settings, usage patterns, and the content of the printed pages. Heavy graphics or text coverage may affect the page yield.
Making printer cartridges last longer involves adopting good printing habits, maintaining your printer, and using some practical tips to maximize cartridge lifespan. Here are some recommendations to help you get the most out of your printer cartridges:
1. Print in Draft Mode:
Use the draft or economy mode for everyday printing. While it may produce lighter prints, it uses less ink and can significantly extend cartridge life.
2. Adjust Print Quality Settings:
Optimize print quality settings based on your needs. For routine documents, a lower print quality setting may be sufficient, saving ink.
3. Print Only What You Need:
Avoid unnecessary printing. Only print the pages or sections you need to conserve ink.
4. Choose the Right Font:
Some fonts use more ink than others. Consider using ink-friendly fonts like Arial or Calibri instead of heavier fonts.
5. Proofread Before Printing:
Before printing final documents, proofread on-screen to avoid reprints due to errors.
6. Regularly Use Your Printer:
Regularly print a test page or a small job to prevent the ink from drying out. This is especially important for inkjet printers.
7. Turn Off Color Printing:
If your document doesn't require color, print in black and white to extend the life of color cartridges.
8. Keep Your Printer Clean:
Regularly clean your printer, especially the printhead, to prevent clogs and maintain print quality.
9. Purchase High-Capacity Cartridges:
Invest in high-capacity or XL cartridges if your printer supports them. They may cost more upfront but offer a lower cost per page.
10. Store Cartridges Properly:
If you have spare cartridges, store them in a proper way to prevent drying or deterioration.
By incorporating these practices into your printing routine, you can maximize the lifespan of your printer cartridges and reduce the frequency of replacements.
Proper storage of ink and toner cartridges is essential to ensure their longevity and maintain print quality. Here are some guidelines on how to store ink and toner cartridges properly:
1. Keep in a Cool and Dry Environment:
Store cartridges in a cool and dry place, away from extreme humidity or temperature fluctuations. High humidity can lead to clogging or smudging, while low humidity can result in the ink drying out.
2. Maintain Vertical Orientation:
Keep cartridges in an upright position. This helps prevent the ink or toner from settling or causing uneven distribution, ensuring optimal performance when installed.
3. Avoid Exposure to Light:
Keep cartridges in their original packaging or cover them with opaque material to protect them from exposure to light. Light can adversely affect the quality and performance of the ink or toner.
4. Seal Properly:
Do not open the cartridge if you are not ready to use it. If a cartridge is opened but not immediately used, re-seal it with the provided seal or tape to prevent the ink or toner from drying out.
5. Keep in Original Packaging:
Whenever possible, store cartridges in their original packaging. Original packaging is designed to protect cartridges from external elements and maintain their integrity.
By following these storage tips, you can help preserve the quality and functionality of your ink and toner cartridges, ensuring they deliver optimal printing results when you need them.
To achieve the best print quality using compatible ink/toner cartridges, consider the following strategies from the provided dimensions:
1. Purchase from Reputable Retailers like True Image:
When seeking the best print quality with compatible cartridges, it's crucial to choose a reputable and trustworthy supplier, such as True Image. Reputable retailers prioritize product quality, ensuring that the compatible cartridges meet or exceed industry standards. True Image, known for its commitment to quality, offers cartridges that are specifically designed for compatibility and optimal performance with a wide range of printers.
2. Shake Toner Cartridges or Clean Print Heads Before Use:
Before installing compatible toner cartridges, it's advisable to shake the toner cartridges gently. This helps distribute the toner evenly, preventing potential issues like streaks or uneven printing. Additionally, for inkjet printers, periodic cleaning of the print heads can enhance print quality. Following the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning procedures ensures that the print heads are free from dried ink or debris, promoting consistent and high-quality prints.
3. Consistently Purchase and Use Products from the Same Supplier:
For a consistent and reliable printing experience, consider establishing a long-term relationship with a single supplier. This includes purchasing both drum units and toner cartridges, as well as black and color cartridges, from the same reputable source. This continuity ensures compatibility between components and reduces the likelihood of compatibility issues that may affect print quality. Consistency in product sourcing contributes to a stable and optimized printing environment.
4. Replace Cartridges Promptly When Empty:
To maintain optimal print quality, it's essential to replace cartridges promptly when they run out of toner or ink. Operating printers with empty or near-empty cartridges can result in print defects, such as faded text or streaks. Regularly checking and replacing cartridges as needed ensures that you consistently achieve the best print quality with compatible ink/toner cartridges.
By adhering to these practices, you can maximize the performance of compatible ink/toner cartridges, ensuring that your prints are of the highest quality and meet your expectations.
